LaVaCELL series
The right solution for your task
The production cells from LaVa-X are highly efficient, modular systems for laser welding in a vacuum. They are the ideal tool for joining metals together. With LaVa technology, materials with high melting points and high thermal conductivity can also be optimally welded. Productivity, but especially quality, is significantly increased compared to conventional laser welding.
The increase in process efficiency reduces the required heat input and thus the distortion. The reduced ambient pressure stabilizes the weld pool and pores and cracks can be avoided, even with difficult-to-weld alloys.
LaVaCELL450
We have been supplying our customers with this highly flexible welding system since 2018. The LaVaCELL has a welded steel frame with laser class 1, which integrates all the necessary components on just over one square meter.
Up to a laser power of 8,000 W, the beam source also finds its place in the machine frame. In addition to infrared lasers, the LaVaCELL can also be operated with beam sources from the visible wavelengths, such as green or blue.
The CNC-controlled manipulation is as varied as the products that are welded with the system and is designed according to customer specifications.
In addition to the axis configuration, there is also a choice of three different vacuum chamber sizes. The largest chamber has a footprint of 800 x 800 mm.
Laser beam welding in vacuum is performed at a pressure level of 1-100 mbar. If required, however, it is also possible to realize pressure ranges of <1x10-4 mbar.

When selecting the right laser source and processing optics, we work together with all well-known manufacturers.
Platform strategy
The machine frame is available in three width classes. The vacuum chamber for processing is designed to suit the product within these dimensions.
Without compressed air
Our systems do not require a crossjet. If clamping cylinders are required, they can be operated with the vacuum.
Turnkey
Our production cells are delivered turnkey, including all welding parameters.
Highly productive
The production cells can be equipped with a rotary indexing table or a robot for loading in all systems.
Modular System
