In today's industry, precision and reliability in manufacturing is crucial. When it comes to laser welding,
a state-of-the-art method of joining materials, we place particular emphasis on quality assurance to ensure
that the components we produce for our customers meet the highest standards.

Feasibility

Which laser technology can we use to achieve the best quality for your products? This question is at the heart of every feasibility study.

As part of the feasibility study, our process engineers check which laser technology will lead to the best results for your products. The selection of available system technology is almost as large as the variety of products that we are allowed to process. Welding depths of a few micrometres in a pressure sensor made of chrome-nickel steel, a few millimetres in copper busbars and 50 mm or more deep weld seams in titanium and aluminium are possible with the machines in our state-of-the-art technical centre.

In addition to beam sources with spot diameters of a few micrometers and core-ring beam sources in the multi-kW range, the processes can also be analyzed at different ambient pressures.

Process Qualification

As a certified specialist welding company in accordance with ISO 3834-2 and EN 15085-2, we are at your side for your process qualification!

The feasibility was successful. The right laser technology for your product has been identified. Very good!

Now we qualify the process for series production. As part of the process qualification, you develop the specifications together with our welding engineers, in which the requirements for the welds are specified. We then qualify your process from the preliminary welding procedure specification (pWPS) via process qualification (WPQR) to the valid WPS.

Series Production

For us, series production starts with quantity 1.

Our customers come from a wide range of industries. While products for aerospace industry tend to have quantities that can be counted with one hand, in sensor technology these are already several thousand.

In the automotive sector, we are the right partner for sample production, which often amounts to several tens of thousands of units before we subsequently develop and implement a special machine for in-house production.
